In reply to Annmarie Boduch's question on handling a sponsor cap on
fringe benefits, our organization is faced with the same delimma.
No matter what the sponsor says, fringe benefits are taken at the
full amount. In order to accept the award, the principal
investigator/department is required to allocate funds from some other
account, other than another grant, (such as an indirect cost return
account) to make up for the difference.
