Subject: NSF Consultant Cap

 This might seem like a strange question, but it's a strange type of day.

We're all aware of the max NSF puts on the daily consultant rate.  Is it
permitted to split a consultant payment with a non NSF sponsored project that
would result in a payment over NSF's per diem but NSF would only be charged a
portion of the total cost...
