I called the number (212)852-0400 and got the "Handbook for Candidates".
The next application deadline is August 15, 1994 for the exam Oct. 1, 1994.
Application fee is $225.00.  Test is given in 24 locations in U.S. & Canada.
Eligibility to take test is: a minimum of 3 years of substantial involve-
ment in sponsored programs administration and Bachelor's degree or higher
OR a minimum of 8 years of substantial involvement in research and sponsored
programs adminstration either in sponsoring or recipient organization or the
equivalent in self-funding organizations (until the year 2000).  An interesting
list of references for exam preparations is included.
