I have not forgotten my promise to follow up on the possibility of
getting the newly issued Grants Policy Statement in an electronic format.

JoEllen Harper of the NIH Policy Office reports that they are working on this
dilligently!  They managed to get a copy of the full text of the GPS from
DHHS and they have someone going through and doing a "clean up" of codes,
format problems, etc. to make it ready for posting on the NIH
Gopher.  They are expecting to have it up on the Gopher in a month or
so and also anticipate that there will be FTP capability for those of us
that want to download it.

JoEllen advises that they will do an NIH Guide notice when the time comes.

This makes my month! (it doesn't take much these days)
