Regarding the insurance on student travel question, my recollection
is that there used to be rules about special insurance for
University personnal going overseas on AID projects.  I don't know
if that included students, if it is still in effect, and if it
was required on projects funded by agencies other than AID.  Perhaps
someone from an institution that does alot of international work
could enlighten us.  I just realized that I really don't know much
about this issue!!!

p.s., but wouldn't you at least require the student to have
health insurance???  and you would have to cover them for workers
comp.
