For those individuals interested in funding on Breast Cancer Research, there
will be an announcement published in the Commerce Business Daily this summer
requesting proposals for breast cancer research supported by the U.S. Army.
Announcements will also appear in major scientific journals such as Science,
JAMA, etc.  Last year's appropriation was $210 million for breast cancer
research directed towards individual investigator awards, career development,
postdoctoral fellowships and training grants.  Congress has not yet released
their directive on which types of programs will be supported in the coming
year.
