IRB Guidebook Franci Farnsworth 05 May 1994 09:30 EST

I'd like to hear from grant administrators (particularly in smaller schools)
about the usefulness of the NIH publication: "Protecting Human Research
Subjects: Institutional Review Board Guidebook."

Is it too comprehensive for a school which has has never had any externally
funded research projects involving human subjects (but wants to be prepared
because some faculty are doing social science research involving human
subjects)?

Thanks.
