I did not receive any responses to my posting on this, but since we

Salary Limitation
I note that the Salary Limitation on NIH grants to an annual rate of
$125,000 stems out of the DHHS Appropriations Act for FY 94
(Public Law 103-112) NIH GUIDE VOL 23 No. 7 FEB 18, 1994. My question
is, does anyone know if this applies to PHS grants outside of the
NIH? The NIH Guide describes it as applying to salary under a grant
or applicable contract ISSUED BY THE NIH, but based on the originating
legislation, I am wondering if the rule is broader?
Thanks
