Working Title  Research Administrator

The Ohio Board of Regents invites applications for the position of Research
Administrator, a full-time administrative professional responsible for providing

overall administration of statewide research initiatives.  He/she will provide
leadership in coordinating joint activities among the state's research
universities, including administration of competitive programs for both capital
equipment and facilities and operational research infrastructure development.
The Research Administrator will assist in developing state research strategies,
assuring accountability in use of public funding, and promoting productive
relationships with external constituents.

Qualifications include:  Minimum of a Master's Degree in Public Policy &
Management, Higher Education, the Sciences, or arelated field; excellent written

and verbal communication skills, and analytic ability; knowledge of electronic
wordprocessing, spreadsheets, and/or database management software for data
analysis and reporting, previous experience in a college or university
environment desirable.
