Protocol - Posting positions

By asking if the "institution would mind" I guess you mean whether the
institution would want individuals using an "institutional asset"
(i.e. connection to the Internet) to find out about available
positions. Their asset could cost them an employee if that employee
locates a new position through RESADM-l. I thought of this as well,
but I see it as no different from reading the NCURA or SRA Newsletter
or the Chronicle of Higher Education --essential to our jobs, but
all of these include job postings too. I think the value of the
info sharing that has gone on so far would definitely outweigh
the perceived "risk" of losing an employee to a posted position
