SUBJECT:  SPONSORED PROJECTS ADVISORY GROUP

At our insitution ( large) advisory groups come in several guises.
a) There is a group of  Department and College level business
administrators with whom our Research Administration and our Grants
Accounting offices meet with periodically
b) The Graduate Dean hosts a Graduate Council ; a sub-group of that is
the Research issues group , consisting almost entirely of faculty but
with Research Administration office and Animal Facilities
representation.
c) The Faculty Senate has a subcommittee on Research : all faculty.
d) The Office of Research Administration established and monitors a
research issues e-mail  bulletin board internally within the
campus to provide a forum for questions and answers
