My administration wants for me to form a PI's Council or something
similar, to seek the sage advice of the faculty on how our Sponsored
Programs services should be run.  I like the idea in principle, but
my only experience with a group like this was that it evolved into
a Faculty Senate type of group with lotsof posturing and
bickering.  Although that was a a much larger outfit, I'd like to
benefit from your experiences.
