I like Dialog because it is a "grazing place" for faculty.  It covers the
scene with relatively good information.  And I only call the technical
contact after the faculty member kicks, screams, and threatens me with
violence.  They understand their proposal best and they need to get to
know the technical contacts.

For current info -  i use the standard newsletters and the actual announcements
and never rely on Dialog.  But my favorite use for Dialog is for that
nagging question - "Doesn't NIH (or NSF, DOD, etc.) have a program that
supports my research?"  I like being able to say "Well, why don't you
take a look at this."
