Our rate for clinical studies sponsored by drug companies is currently 25%
TDC.  Our federally negotiated rate is 48.9% MTDC.  Northwestern
University,  Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Evanston Hospital were
using the same rate but have recently raised it to 35% TDC.  We have
decided, at least for now, to remain at 25%.

In response to David's question, we include as part of our standard
clinical agreement a statement which says that the initial payment is
non-refundable in order to avoid problems with the company asking for money
back.
