On a lighter note, I'd recommend Bob Lucas's The Grants World Inside Out.
It may not help your faculty a great deal, but it will help you keep
things in perspective.  I'll add that the SRA book is the NEST source of
info currently available.  Reif-Lehner's book is ok but it's a bit too
much of a ccokbook for my tastes.  Getting Funding is better.
