About This Position
Career growth opportunity for those with a financial background. The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Sr. Sponsored Programs Specialist.
•	Responsible for Pre-Award administration of academic research grants and contracts: activities to include proposal submission and coordination; proposal budget and justification preparation; sponsor and university proposal form completion; and Just In Time (JIT) protocol.
•	Proactively assist investigators, fellows, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers with the search for new funding opportunities.
•	Prepare and coordinate the submission of required documentation for all non-competing renewals of currently funded projects to ORA (e.g., annual progress reports etc.) including tracking all submissions.
•	Maintain all proposal information and forms in center share folder including Other Support and Biosketch.

Minimum Qualifications
•	Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
•	Three years of relevant experience
•	Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
•	Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
•	Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
•	Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
•	Commitment to the University’s core values.
•	Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
