For those institutions that are utilizing an RCM model, I would be
interested in how you are assessing for core/shared costs (OSP, IRB,
etc) on the F&A (as opposed to E&G) side of the model.

VCU currently assesses each unit their pro rata share of these
expenses based on the unit's share of the institution's total
sponsored expenditures (to simplify - if the school is responsible for
20% of the sponsored expenditures for the year, then they are
responsible for 20% of those shared expenses).

We are interested in other assessment models that may be being
utilized (as well as a sense of whether others are using our
assessment model also).
