Question on use of program income under federal grants and cooperative agreements Pelletier, Michael 23 Oct 2017 09:16 EST

Good morning colleagues!

I am writing to find out if any of you are aware of any instances where an award said that program income was to be treated using the additive method and the grants official then waived the requirement entirely via a separate communication. My understanding is that there are only three alternative treatments (deductive, additive and cost-share/match) and that the requirement cannot be waived, even by a grant specialist. But if you have seen this I would be very interested to hear about your experience.

Thanks all-
