It does not seem logical to link a prior SAM account, it is an Institution specific system to ensure that a specific institution is verified to do perform various activities with the Federal Gov't. Doing what is requested would only cause confusion. ----------------------------------------- Alexander Schoen, MBA Director, Office of Sponsored Programs Winthrop Research Institute Winthrop-University Hospital 222 Station Plaza North, Suite 301 Mineola, NY 11501 Phone: (516) 663-4931 Fax: (516) 663-9718 xxxxxx@winthrop.org http://www.winthrop.org/sponsored-research-programs -----Original Message----- From: Research Administration List [mailto:xxxxxx@lists.healthresearch.org] On Behalf Of Kingsley, Elizabeth Sent: Monday, December 05, 2016 7:04 PM To: xxxxxx@lists.healthresearch.org Subject: Re: [RESADM-L] SAM registration and the commons I agree. There's no reason to link a SAM account from a previous institution. We have a new position in Advancement that is asking to be on both systems. When I mentioned that she didn't need access to these, she said she wanted to link to her old SAM account that she previously had with another organization. Any comments?
