Role Summary:  The Research Operations Manager will contribute significantly to planning, strategy, development, and achievement of organizational research goals. The Research Operations Manager, in partnership with physician and research leaders, is responsible for the day to day oversight and and management of clinical research nurses (CRA RNs), Research Associates (CRAs) and Research Assistants. The Research Operations Manager is responsible for hiring and periodic evaluations of the , of research staff as well as overseeing the orienting, mentoring, and ongoing trainin. S/hewill ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and federal, state and local regulations are followed; will participate in orientations, and educational meetings; will demonstrate positive interactions at all times to assure the best patient experience for research patients; will assist with the development / revision of standard operating procedures, guidelines, and orientation and training programs affecting the clinical research operation.
