We had an award from the Japan Foundation. It was made to OU, not the PI.

Has any institution applied or accepted an award from the Japan Foundation? There is wording in the proposal guidelines that state that award is made to the representative (PI) and never to the organization entrusted with the accounting and that the accounting can not be entrusted with the organization that the PI is affiliated with. I am wondering if anyone has encountered this foundation and would be willing to speak to me offline? Thank you!
