I am not surprised that your institutions have not had any communication re: GATA. We didn't get a lot of advanced notice about the "Centralized Repository Vault" either.

The newly enacted law establishes GOMB (Governor's Office of Management and Budget), and seems to hint at the launch of collection of some data from grantees, but additional information about GOMB or further implementation is scarce. One one hand, I think it would be good if universities and other grantee organizations have a place at the table as GATU develops its plans, but on the other hand, I am unable to think of any persons in our research administrator community on whom I would wish to inflict this.
