The Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) is accepting applications for a Subaward Administrator in the Office of Research Development Services (RDS).

Responsibilities:  The Subaward Administrator provides preaward support to faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in all aspects of the subaward process. A major focus of the position is the coordination, submission and execution of subawards and independent contractor agreements (ICAs).  This position supports the proposal specialists of the basic science and clinical science units, which includes several departments of the GUMC. The Subaward Administrator works directly with the RDS teammates and is responsible for collecting and compiling consortium information required for proposal submission, setting up and modifying subcontracts and ICAs noted in the award.  The Subaward Administrator  reports to the Proposal Specialist and works closely with the staff in RDS, OSR and other sponsored research collaborators to ensure that subawards are complete, accurate, and in compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines.

Degree:  Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of research administration experience.

Qualifications:
•	Familiarity with NIH and DOD grants and contracts
•	Excellent organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
