Hi Kris,
We applied to this program (funding for a postdoc-is that what you are requesting?), but I don't think we were asked for proof of non-profit status. If we were, I am sure we would have provided our IRS letter, and would say that is the document we use for such proof.
It is kind of an odd system, I thought, hard to change status, etc.
Good luck,
Diana

Subject: [RESADM-L] Horizon 2020 question

Hi Folks,
I've got a faculty member applying to a program under H2020; we're currently a 'declared' institution in the EC's Participant Portal and I'm working on getting us 'validated' -- in case we get funded.

I've provided the usual documents we use in the US to prove non-profit status but they say they need further proof. I've reached out to them asking what exactly they need me to provide but haven't heard back yet.

For those of you who are validated institutions, could you share with me what document(s) were accepted as proof of your non-profit status?

Thanks!
