Job Title: Contracts and Agreements Associate
Job Description: Under the general supervision of the Director, Clinical Trial Office; the Contracts and Agreements Associate supports the function of the Clinical Trial Office (CTO) by negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and other clinical trial related agreements with sponsors and/or their CROs. The Contracts and Agreements Associate will also help to draft Master Agreements with pharmaceutical companies. The key responsibility of this role is to ensure that the terms of all executed agreements appropriately protect Boston Medical Center (BMC) and reflect BMC policy. The Contracts and Agreements Associate will be the primary contact for departments, investigators, and sponsors regarding contractual issues. The individual will interpret complex requirements associated with both incoming and outgoing agreements.
Successful completion of a law degree (JD) at an accredited school of law is required. 2-3 years of experience reviewing and negotiating various types of clinical trial agreements. Experience in an academic medical center setting preferred. Working knowledge of clinical research required.
