Hi all,

For those institutions that have policies that permit faculty to earn
extra compensation during the AY in limited circumstances (using the
guidelines set forth in OMB A-21),   how is it tracked, and which
office/dept. on campus is tasked with tracking it?

For example, some universities place a maximum percentage on the amount
that can be earned above a faculty member's regular appointment. Who's
responsible for tracking that?

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide. (I know this topic
can elicit some "interesting" debate/discussion).
