Thanks, Morgen Sarpeshkar The Office of Research Administration (ORA) is looking for a Sr. Compliance Administrator. The Sr. Compliance Administrator will support a wide variety of research integrity and compliance functions ORA. Examples of Key Responsibilities: Coordinates, develops, and implements the operations of one or more research compliance committees (e.g., IRB, IACUC, IBC), including initial protocol review, management of meeting logistics, recording and documentation of minutes, etc. Shares responsibility for all required communication with relevant federal regulatory agencies, including annual reporting, updating of membership rosters, etc. Essential liaison between compliance committees and investigators, and between ORA and committee chairs. Coordinates and maintains ORA department files (hard-copy and electronic) for compliance committee protocols and actions, including oversight of data entry and appropriate notification(s) (including reminders) to principal investigators and relevant administrative staff and offices. Qualifications: BA/BS degree, with minimum of 1-3 years experience in an academic research administration setting. CIP and/or CPIA helpful. Specific experience in at least three of the following areas: coordination of research compliance committee(s); maintenance and reporting of data in electronic database management systems; development and delivery of training; maintenance of website content. Solid knowledge of relevant research compliance regulations and policy environment (e.g., 45 CFR 46, animal welfare regulations), granting agency policies (NIH, NSF, DoD) related to research integrity and compliance functions. Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written)skills. Polished, professional demeanor. Solid desktop computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, FileMaker Pro). Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in high-pressure, high-volume, deadline-driven environment and to work as a part of a team. Demonstrated customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of office information.
