Proposal Manager
Responsibilities: facilitate comprehensive faculty grant proposal development and submission for designated campus departments or units; monitor and update office databases; prepare reports on external and internal activity as needed.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree by date of appointment; at least one year of professional work experience in research administration; excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills; excellent technological skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Access), Adobe Professional suite of products, and an understanding of Grants.gov submission process; ability to multi-task well under pressure, simultaneously handling a variety of projects and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications: Research Administrator's Certificate (CRA) or master's degree; additional years of related experience; excellent managerial, technical, and organizational skills; experience using Banner.
