I must disagree. Our President is not shown in a pejorative light. Only our President's hand-picked appointee was brought to task. She was shown to have been, how can it be put delicately, throwing our money around like a deranged person.

This waste should have been curtailed long ago. Those involved in spending these funds should be criminally prosecuted, in much the same way as a PI would if an A-133 audit revealed the squandering of public funds. We, as research administrators, are held to certain standards of responsibility governing the use of public funds, are we not? Is there no accountability for the politically connected?

Bread and circuses, specially reserved for small coteries of public employees, anyone?
