When I see something that's free it's either something I didn't ask for or
it's worthless, sort of like a Father-in-law's advice (which is both).  If
the Co-P has no skin in the game and either isn't being allowed to devote
time or just isn't for some reason, it draws a jaundiced eye.  Whether it's
allowed or not, what good is it?

Dear all,

Does your institution allows co-PIs to be listed with no effort on the budget? Especially when you are submitting a proposal to a federal sponsor, such as DOD?
