Re: 2nd opinion needed - co-PI w/o effort on a federal proposal

When I see something that's free it's either something I didn't ask for or
it's worthless, sort of like a Father-in-law's advice (which is both). If
the Co-P has no skin in the game and either isn't being allowed to devote
time or just isn't for some reason, it draws a jaundiced eye. Whether it's
allowed or not, what good is it?

[RESADM-L] 2nd opinion needed - co-PI w/o effort on a fedral proposal
Martina Tsai 22 Nov 2011 10:38 EST
Dear all,
Does your institution allows co-PIs to be listed with no effort on the budget? Especially when you are submitting a proposal to a federal sponsor, such as DOD?
Thanks for sharing in advance
