If direct costs are over $250, then you have to use the detailed budget forms; but everything still goes into year 1.

Subject: [RESADM-L] NIH AREA Grant Application in g.g
We are trying to submit an AREA grant asking for $100,000 in direct costs in each of three years. The instructions indicate that the entire budget should be entered into the first budget period, however the drop-down box for "Direct Cost less Consortium F&A" only goes up to $250,000, which is the regular modular grant cap.
Anyone know how to make this work?
Thanks.
Larry
