We always use out business official's contact information (which is different than our Signing Official). Official notifications are then routed to a generic post award email that is checked daily. Relevant correspondence is forwarded to the PI if they were not cc'ed on the original email.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Contact for SF 424
Colleagues --
Do you consider the SF-424 box "f. Name and contact information of person to be contacted on matters involving this application" to be the sponsored programs / grants administrator contact or the faculty Principal Investigator/Project Director? We have done a little of both and wondered how others regard this. Thanks!
