Our institution has recently instituted a requirement to show academic
year effort associated with the research proposed on the NSF 1030 and
also included in the budget justification.  There is no requirement to
request the salary, the dollar value is not shown as official cost share
on Line M and the justification states the PI will contribute 1 month
effort to this project along with any NSF funded summer effort.  Does
anyone else do this and has there been any feedback from NSF?
