PROGRAM SPECIALIST, Office of Sponsored Research

We’re currently seeking a Program Specialist to assist faculty in acquiring external sponsors to financially support their research programs. Specific responsibilities include the submission of grants and contracts, inputting grant application related information into a shared database and perform back-up quality control checking of multiple databases.
Requires BA in Business Administration along with at least two years administrative experience in either pre-award or post-award research administration preferred. Accounting/finance experience desirable. You must possess a complete understanding of all principles and procedures involved in processing a grant application, be proficient in managing the quality and integrity of historical databases, website and spreadsheet modification updates, and be familiar with database report generation via tools such as Crystal Reporting. A working knowledge of agency rules and regulations is necessary.
