Hi Folks,

I would like submit the following question to universities who have faculty with an affiliation with a local VA.

1.	If you run a contract though the university, what mechanism do you use for transferring the appropriate portion of the faculty salary back to the University?
2.	Do you allow faculty who are on an 8 month faculty appointment to also hold a 5/8th appointment with VA?

Unfortunately neither we nor our local VA is experienced with how to set up such an agreement, so any advice on how your institution does it would be appreciated.  Feel free to call or email me directly.
