We are using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, version 9.3.4 and we have not had any problems submitting to grants.gov.

We are using Acrobat Pro 9.2.3 at work, no problems of any kind. I use NitroPDF Professional on my home systems with no problems as well. No problems moving files back and forth between the two programs.Bill

Subject: [RESADM-L] PDF Products

We've recently encountered an issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro - their last update to version 8.2.4 has made the program non-functional on every machine that we allowed to update, both on XP and Windows 7.   I'm curious if anyone else has encountered a problem with this last automatic update.

On a slightly different note, because of this failure of our Acrobat installations, we must consider upgrading to the 9.x version or going with a different company altogether.   One product we are looking at is Nuance (formerly Scansoft) PDF Converter Pro 7.  Though we've used an older version (4) for converting PDF files back to Word documents (for editing), that version is not compatible with Windows 7.  I'm curious if anyone has used the newer version 7 and whether you would recommend it.  Please provide feedback on the Nuance product or other brands of PDF software you might be using including Acrobat 9.
