Subject: Re: [RESADM-L] Minority Serving
The definition(s), and list of institutions, is provided by the Department of Education. It typically entails serving a student body that is comprised of 50% or more underrepresented minorities. Specific definitions for HBCU, TCU, etc., depend on the specific type of underrepresented minorities. I believe NSF just uses the same definitions. The lists for the different categories can be found at http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/edlite-minorityinst.html.

Hi All,
Quick question ~ what does NSF consider for an institution to qualify (or be considered) as a minority-serving university?
Thanks,
