Colleagues,

In addition to a review of limited submission (internal competition) proposals provided by your institution's review committee, do you also provide a more detailed "red team" type review of the full proposal to the selected PI?  Providing such an in-depth review of the PIs full proposal will maximize strengths and increases funding chances. Therefore, we are in the process of evaluating how to implement this process and would appreciate any feedback.... what type of time line is used, do you use the same reviewers on the review committee or form a separate review committee and so on.
