Friends,

Has anyone had success with getting an indirect rate approved on a project
that was not limited by the opportunity nor matched your negotiated rate?
Our negotiated rate is for salaries/wages/benefits only.  A proposal we're
submitting has no salaries/fringes, but is large enough to cause quite a bit
of administrative effort and facilities use.  The opportunity does not have
a rate limitation.  Will a funder consider a request for a rate applied to
modified total direct costs for our application?  Would you add it and be
specific in your justification and see what happened or email someone ahead
of time??
