Re: Time and Effort on Banner Ken Clark 05 Feb 2010 16:34 EST

Nancy:
Thanks so much. Will you please keep me posted? We are torn between the comments on both sides: pro and con. We have yet to talk to someone with actual experience.

Hi Ken,
We are going live with the Grants Module (banner 8) in April.
Our institution already utilizes Banner finance, h/r, student, advancement and financial aid modules.
We have had SCT's top finance consultant out for training on the grants module and
so far, so good......

We didn't get to see the Webinar on Friday. We had a snow storm and
school was canceled at 1:00 p.m. I'll let anyone who has questions know
what I find out.

One university Director I spoke with said they did not think the Banner T&E reporting module was completely compliant because it did not allow for after the fact distribution of cost share. Otherwise, at the Banner Webinar the other day, everything else looked good. I'm just not sure and like you, would like other opinions from "actual users."
