Also interesting is the "Personal Statement."  There is no limit to this
statement other than the limit for the entire document.  I can see these
getting pretty "wordy."

What do you think the implications are for not limiting the number of
publications on biosketches to 15? NIH seems somewhat vague on whether
or not this is a requirement or just merely "encouraged".

In the NOT-OD-09-149
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-09-149.html) it
seems more definitive, but in the sample biosketch
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/phs398/biosketchsample.pdf) it
says "NIH encourages applicants to limit the list of selected
peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts in press to no more than 15".
