Identifying International Collaborators Greg Tananbaum 27 Jan 2010 15:31 EST

Dear List Members,

I am writing at the suggestion of the Society of Research Administrators in the hopes of gaining feedback from research administrators on the subject of international cooperation. Specifically, how frequently do you seek foreign collaborators to round out grant proposals, and how difficult is it to find them? My organization, Anianet (http:/www.anianet.com) is a professional network used by thousands of Chinese scholars to better connect to their peers in the west. Our members would like to be kept apprised of collaboration opportunities, and we are working to identify the most efficient means to enable this. Understanding the extent to which identifying foreign partners is a problem for western research administrators would be a big help.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Best, Greg
