With the trend toward larger contract awards, we're finding it increasingly necessary to employ project managers to oversee resource tracking/allocation, milestone compliance, report generation, etc.  Unfortunately our institution doesn't have a very well defined career ladder in place to accommodate this need.

If your organization has such a career path, would you mind sharing the job titles, descriptions and salary ranges?  I'll be happy to compile the data I receive and make it available if there is an interest.
