In a disappointing set of circumstances, we've renegotiated our new F&A
rate 1% less than what we had been getting. I want to go on record and
say I was not part of the negotiation. That being said, what happens to
all our pending applications should they be funded at the old higher
rate? I realize if we had gotten a new higher rate, we'd just have to be
happy with receiving the lower amount but now... Upon notice of award,
do we inform the awarding agency and have them reduce the awarded amount
or can we keep it and rebudget it back into direct costs?
Thanks all knowing and wise collective!!
Matt
