Re: Can't Open PDF Submit Package Schoen, Alexander 24 Jun 2009 13:55 EST

Do you have another version of adobe acrobat (not reader) on your PC?
We had issues when adobe 7.0 was on the PC - we could only open a
package if we opened it through the reader program.

Also the file you attached is only 15KB, most application packages are
at least 1,500 before adding any information.

Subject: [RESADM-L] Can't Open PDF Submit Package

Hi all,
Has anyone else experienced the following specific error message in
Acrobat, when attempting to open PDF's from G.g?

"Warning: This form is not supported with the current version of Acrobat
or Adobe Reader.
Upgrade to the latest version for full support."

Of course, we have tried ALL versions of Adobe PDF viewers and found
that NO version, new or old, satisfies the document's apparent
requirement. This appears to be an error with the creation of this PDF.
Neither Acrobat Pro, nor Adobe Reader, nor 3rd party PDF readers like
Apple's Preview have been able to open these series of PDF documents.

The file names are:
oppED-GRANTS-032309-008-cfda84.324-cid84-324A2010-1-2.pdf
oppED-GRANTS-032309-001-cfda84.305-cid84-305A2010-1-1.pdf

If anyone's interested, I've included an attachment of one of the
troublesome files below, for your own reference.
