Primary functions of this position will be to prepare, review and submit grant/contract proposals; negotiate contract and grant awards; set up and process awarded funding; handle and interpret contractual, regulatory and institutional issues; review and monitor compliance; and manage ongoing award administration responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and four years of research and/or contract related administration experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the federal grant and contract process, including proposal submission. Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and five or more years of federal contracting experience. Special Skills/Licenses/Training/Certifications Necessary: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people. Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
