Clarification on PI admin. time:
We could also call our PI admin. time, study management time.

How would you differentiate between the time spent managing a study and being PI versus time with a subject that results in a charge?

We currently account for PI admin. time on industry-funded projects based on enrollment numbers. For our federally-funded projects PI admin. time is a percentage of effort.
