Re: Challenge resubmission problem Colucci, Kelly 05 May 2009 10:58 EST

We are still trying to get an RC1 through g.g too. We submitted a
challenge grant on 4/27 (under the deadline) and got a rejection notice
from g.g yesterday. It said that one of our required forms was the
incorrect form. We called g.g and they could not tell us which one. We
thought it might be the target planned enrollment, resubmitted and got
the same error message. We called g.g again and said that it is a
technical problem that they were experiencing on 4/23 when we called
them and was escalated to Tier 2 at that time. They told us then
someone would get back to us in 4 days and we still have not heard. So,
yesterday they gave us another ticket, told us NOT to resubmit, wait for
a call back in another 4 days and to call NIH and let them know what is
going on.

Any thoughts / suggestions???

We appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

Oh no. You're not the last. I'm finishing one up today -come hell or

RESADMers, I'm still wrestling with an on-the-deadline Challenge Grant
resubmission to NIH. Sunday we finally received received the email from

Commons with an error message:
> Federal Identifier format (SF 424 RR Cover page) is not valid. Please
> include only the IC and serial number of the prior grant number (e.g.,

> CA123456).
I plugged in the G.g tracking no (in 1234567 format) and resubmitted,
got the same error message back, looked on the RFP where it said to use
GRANTS1234567 format, did that, and just received the same error message

again. Commons help hasn't responded to my email inquiry. Can anyone
tell me the correct solution?

I must be the last with a hanging Challenge proposal, what a tortuous
road. Thanks for your indulgence.

Regards, Bill
