I just thought I would toss the following in - in case anyone else runs into the same situation: I called G.g. about a 42 hour old submission that I had not received a VALIDATION for, and they told me to wait 48 hours. If, after 48 hours, I did not receive a VALIDATION, I could call them back. At that time they would send my case to a technician and that technician would get back to me in FOUR DAYS!! The person at the helpdesk said I had the option of submitting again after 48 hours if I did not get a VALIDATION, and I wondered to myself, "If I submit again, how will I know the same thing won't occur? I don't know if something is wrong with the package itself or if I did not receive validation because it is simply a monstrously long delay." Is "FLAT AFFECT" also a symptom of Grants.gov Disorder? But you have a confirmation number, and presumably a ticket number. Eventually their system will catch up. But even if not, you have the evidence that you submitted on time, and it was not your fault that their system delayed you. Robert P.
