Per eRA helpdesk, put in the start & end dates of the parent award.

However, that creates another error message that the start date cannot occur
before today.  My fix was to put in a date after 4/21.  the help desk won't
tell you to do that, but it fixed the problem.

Now I only hope that when it gets funded they remember why I did that and
what project dates I really want.

It helps to have a ticket number just in case.

"The parent grant for a revision must be awarded. The parent grant for
this submission is not a funded grant."

If you have encountered this, how did you fix the error?
